Rosetta Blanyon Yormie
Rosetta Blanyon Yormie is a Liberian transportation engineer with a background in civil engineering and professional experience in airport engineering, transportation infrastructure management, construction supervision, maintenance planning and technical reporting.
She holds a Master of Engineering in Traffic and Transportation Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University, China, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from William V. S. Tubman University, Liberia.
Rosetta currently works as a Transportation Engineer at Roberts International Airport. Her professional experience includes work related to the construction, rehabilitation, supervision, maintenance and management of airport infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons and terminal facilities.
Her professional interests include promoting sustainable transportation systems, strengthening airport infrastructure, advancing engineering innovation, mentoring young professionals and supporting knowledge exchange that contributes to Africa’s socio-economic development.
Through the AOU Pan-African Youth Fellows Network, she looks forward to contributing to education, engineering, innovation, research collaboration and youth development initiatives.
