AOU is committed to responsible governance, transparent communication, and clear institutional procedures for partners, donors, institutions, contributors, and participating organizations.

Responsible donation and institutional support terms

AOU welcomes contributions that support open learning, capacity development, youth programs, knowledge sharing and institutional development. Donations should be handled transparently, responsibly and in line with applicable requirements.

Bank Detail Verification

For security reasons, institutional donors and large contributors are encouraged to verify bank details directly with AOU by email before making any transfer.

Receipts and Confirmation

AOU may provide confirmation letters or receipts upon request, subject to internal review and applicable requirements.

Tax Disclaimer

Donations may not automatically qualify for tax deduction in the donor's jurisdiction. Donors should consult their own tax or legal advisors where necessary.

Restricted Donations

Restricted donations or project-specific contributions should be accepted only after written confirmation between AOU and the donor.

Review and Use of Funds

AOU may review large donations, institutional contributions or project-based support before acceptance, especially where restrictions, reporting needs or public recognition are involved.
