Program, certificate and partnership review

Program Review

AOU programs should be developed through appropriate internal review, expert input and written project arrangements. Program pages should clearly identify the nature, scope, duration, target participants and expected learning outcomes.

Certificate Review

AOU certificates should clearly state the nature of the program, such as participation, appreciation, completion, professional development or skills training. Unless expressly approved, they should not be presented as academic degrees or government recognized qualifications.

Partnership Review

Use of AOU's name, logo, certificate template, partner names or institutional identity in any cooperation project requires written approval. Co-branded programs require written confirmation from all participating institutions.

Public Communication Review

Public announcements, recruitment materials, donation appeals and cooperation documents involving AOU should follow AOU's approved wording and verification procedures.

Official Verification

Donors and partners should verify official payment instructions through AOU's official communication channel before making any transfer.

Designated Use

Donations may support AOU's general institutional development or specific approved projects, such as open learning resources, youth skills training, digital classroom support and capacity-building initiatives.

Approved Administration

AOU may work with approved administrative or implementation partners under written arrangements for project fund receiving, designated administration, implementation support and reporting.

Records and Acknowledgment

AOU maintains internal records for donations and project funds and may issue acknowledgments, receipts or project confirmations according to approved procedures and applicable requirements.

AOU does not authorize any individual, volunteer, Fellow, country contact or unofficial partner to collect funds on behalf of AOU without written authorization.
