Mama Samba Embalo
Mama Samba Embalo is a Bissau-Guinean young professional with experience in student leadership, international cooperation, entrepreneurship and cross-cultural engagement in China. He is currently the President of the African Students' Confederation in China (ASCC).
His academic background spans chemical engineering, business administration, and environmental science and engineering, with studies at the China University of Petroleum (Beijing), China Three Gorges University, and East China University of Science and Technology.
He has been actively involved in African and Bissau-Guinean student and youth networks in China, including leadership roles supporting student cooperation, community engagement and cultural exchange. His professional experience also includes international business consulting, cross-border cooperation and multilingual communication.
As an AOU Fellow, Mama Samba brings a strong interest in youth development, Africa–China cooperation, entrepreneurship and international exchange, contributing to connections between African young people and wider educational and professional networks.
