Clinton Mutali Lichuma
Clinton Mutali Lichuma is a Kenyan public policy, governance and public service professional with experience in legislative support, public administration, applied research, community engagement, disaster risk reduction and university teaching.
He holds a Master of Management Science in Public Policy from Peking University, China, where his research focused on mobile-based early warning systems for flood-prone regions. His academic and professional interests include governance, disaster resilience, ICT for development, public policy, community safety, youth leadership and evidence-based decision-making.
Clinton has served in governance and policy-related roles connected with the Kenyan Senate and county-level public service. He has also contributed to applied research on climate resilience, flood and drought adaptation, and early warning systems. He is currently a PhD candidate and part-time lecturer at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), Kenya, where he supports teaching and student mentoring in areas related to governance, public policy, disaster management and research methods.
As a Founding Fellow of the AOU Pan-African Youth Fellows Network, Clinton may contribute to youth engagement, local needs identification, open learning promotion, policy dialogue, community-based capacity building and future AOU youth development activities in Kenya and across Africa.
